Technique Class (Fall 2026)
We are excited to provide a technical development program for dancers wanting to increase their technical proficiency in Latin, Ballroom and American styles of dance. These classes are geared towards working on Syllabus level material and providing routines each semester correlating with Syllabus level material and providing routines each semester correlating with Syllabus competitive dances at local competitions.

- Classes held Mondays
- Learn Syllabus routines for 3-5 dances per semester
- Great option to fulfill the Training Log requirement for our program
Preteens:
- Mondays from 5:45-6:30pm
- Cherry Creek Elementary School, Springville, UT
Youth & Junior:
- Mondays from 6:15-7:00pm
- The Summit Center, Springville, UT

Cancellations and Refunds
A full refund (minus a $50 non-refundable handling fee) will be granted for all cancellations requested by 4:00 p.m. one month before each program begins. No refunds will be given after this deadline. To request a refund, please call our Registration Office or email us at dancecamps@byu.edu.
NOTE: no refunds for the $200 Team Deposit to secure spot on team
Financial Aid
BYU Continuing Education offers a limited number of partial-tuition assistance awards for youth who would not otherwise be able to attend the program. These do not cover airfare or spending money. Decisions are based on merit and financial need.
Financial Aid Application - Youth Dancesport Fall 2026
Please follow these instructions when applying.
Be sure to apply in the BYU Account of the CHILD who will be attending the program, by using the child’s name and the child’s BYU Net ID to Login. Do not use the Guest Login or the parent’s Login to start the application.
If the child does not have a BYU account with a Net ID, please follow the instructions below to create an account with a Net ID. If the child already has a BYU Net ID, you can use the link above to login and complete the process from there.
Creating a BYU Net ID & Applying for Financial Aid:

- Click “Login with BYU Net ID”
- Click “Don’t have an account?”
- Follow the steps to create a BYU account
- Return to the link above and login with the child’s Net ID and follow the prompts
The Net IDs will be used when registering for any camps or BYU events, so it is important to remember the login information.
Applying for Financial Aid does not guarantee a spot in a program. You may register for the program to guarantee a spot and if you are not awarded Financial Aid we can refund the tuition fees in full. If you are awarded Financial Aid, we will refund your tuition up to the amount you are awarded.
